IRON Cal, Inspiration Robotics of Northern California, is the broader nonprofit mission behind Butte Built Bots. We work to grow access to hands-on robotics and STEM education for students in our region.
Our goal is simple: help more students build real skills through robotics, especially in communities where these opportunities are limited.
Through team support, mentorship, outreach, and program development, IRON Cal helps create stronger pathways into engineering, design, fabrication, programming, leadership, and problem-solving.
Butte Built Bots is one part of that work. Your support helps us sustain current programs and expand what is possible for more students across Northern California.
Students in far Northern California often have fewer local STEM opportunities, fewer teams, and fewer resources. IRON Cal exists to help close that gap and make high-quality robotics education more accessible and sustainable in our region.
