Bot Builders is a week-long summer camp in which campers 4th - 8th grade have the opportunity to work together to build and program a robot, and to explore a variety of STEM challenges.

Trained counselors will be available to guide campers, giving the best robotics experience possible. At the end of the week, campers in most of the programs will showcase their finished robot in a friendly competition.

All of our Bot Builders sessions will be held at a CUSD school.

Each day runs from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. with a lunch period in between, except for holiday weeks (June 17-21 and July 1-5), which run 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., and Seedlings Camps, which will be half-day sessions only (9 a.m. to noon or 1 to 4 p.m.)

All camps have a capacity limit, but there are waitlists available if the camp is full.

Summer Sessions

Introductory/Intermediate

The Introductory/Intermediate camps are geared towards those who have little or no experience with robotics, providing them with a more structured curriculum and more instruction when it comes to the designing, building, and programming their robot.fdsf

Intermediate/Advanced - COMING SOON!

Our Intermediate/Advanced camps are geared towards those who already have experience working with robots (i.e. has been part of a robotics team, attended the summer camp last year, etc.), providing campers with less strict structure and instruction. This grants them more freedom in designing, building, and programming.

Programming Skills - COMING SOON!

The Programming Skills camp is for campers with robotics experience, who are interested in improving their programming skills. There will be no focus on the mechanical side of robotics. Instead, campers will be taught to implement the ROBOTC programming language. This camp will culminate with a series of programming challenges that require the use of sensors, motor encoders, and advanced programming logic. This camp will not teach programming skills using the standard robotics game, but rather by completing autonomous-based challenges.
